137
3-dart checkout
Strategy
A high-pressure checkout. Hit T20, T19, D10 in sequence. Focus on the trebles first — if you miss, you may still leave yourself a workable finish. If your T20 lands in S20, you'll need 137 with 3 darts remaining. A miss sideways into the 5 or 1 segments changes the equation significantly. If your T19 lands in S19, you'll need 77 with 2 darts remaining. A miss sideways into the 3 or 7 segments changes the equation significantly. You'll encounter 137 frequently in competitive 501 and 301 play.
Alternative Routes
The standard route T20 → T19 → D10 is the most commonly used combination for 137.
Pro Tip
D10 is a solid finishing double. A miss inside to S10 leaves you on 10 (D5) — still on a double. Located in the lower portion of the board, it requires a slightly different arm angle than D20.
