FOR LEAGUE ORGANISERS
Darts league software compared
Prices and features checked November 2026 on each vendor's own site.
TallyPally is a free darts league app that handles fixtures, live scoring at the board and the league table in one place. It is not the only option, and it is not the right one for every league, so this page compares it with the other tools darts organisers use, including the paid ones.
The short answer: league websites like LeagueRepublic run home-and-away team leagues but do not score matches. Scoring apps like DartCounter score matches but do not run leagues. DartConnect, Darts Atlas and SmartDart do both and charge for it. TallyPally does both for free, for leagues played inside one club or venue.

“Scoring at the board” means players or captains score the match as it is played and the table updates from those scores, instead of someone typing results in afterwards.
Which one fits your league
A club, pub or workplace league where everyone plays in the same place
TallyPally. It is free, players score their own matches on their phones, and the table, the stats and the rankings update after every leg.
A county or district team league with home and away matches between pubs
LeagueRepublic if you want a free league website and results entered online. DartConnect or Darts Atlas if you also want matches scored live at the board and are happy to pay per player or per team.
You only need a fixture list
Our free fixture generator: type in the names, then print it, paste it into WhatsApp or download it for Excel. No account needed.
Players who just want to score their own practice and matches
DartCounter or TallyPally. Both score 501 and track averages; TallyPally adds leagues, cups and a club ranking.
Where TallyPally falls short
- No home-and-away team leagues between venues yet. Leagues and cups live inside one club.
- Matches are played over legs; there are no sets.
- No public league website with its own domain, as LeagueRepublic offers.

Questions organisers ask
Is there free darts league software?
Yes. TallyPally is free with no adverts and handles fixtures, live scoring, the league table and player stats for leagues played inside one club or venue. LeagueRepublic has a free plan with adverts for leagues that enter results online.
Which darts league software scores matches live at the board?
TallyPally, DartConnect, Darts Atlas and SmartDart all let matches be scored at the board and update the table from those scores. TallyPally is the free one; the others charge per player, per team or per month.
Which one runs home-and-away team leagues between pubs?
LeagueRepublic, Darts Atlas, DartConnect, SmartDart and Darts League Manager all support team leagues with venues. TallyPally does not yet: its leagues and cups live inside one club.
Can I just use a spreadsheet?
You can, and plenty of leagues do. The cost is your time: every result has to be collected and typed in, and the table is only as current as the last time someone updated it.
Want to make life easier? Run the league in TallyPally
No printouts, no spreadsheet on Sunday night: players score their matches on their phones and the table, leg difference and stats update by themselves after every game. Free for leagues of any size, no adverts.
