A two-dart checkout: T19, D10. Hit the treble first to set up the double. If your T19 lands in S19, you're left on 58 with 1 dart to go. A miss sideways into the 3 or 7 segments changes the equation significantly. You'll encounter 77 frequently in competitive 501 and 301 play.

The standard route T19 → D10 is the most commonly used combination for 77.

D10 is a solid finishing double. A miss inside to S10 leaves you on 10 (D5) — still on a double. Located in the lower portion of the board, it requires a slightly different arm angle than D20.
