76
2-dart checkout
Strategy
A two-dart checkout: T20, D8. Hit the treble first to set up the double. If your T20 lands in S20, you'll need 76 with 2 darts remaining. A miss sideways into the 5 or 1 segments changes the equation significantly. You'll encounter 76 frequently in competitive 501 and 301 play.
Alternative Routes
Besides T20 → D8, alternative routes include: T16 → D14. The best choice depends on which area of the board you're most confident in.
Pro Tip
D8 is part of the D16 halving chain and a well-practiced double for most players. Missing into S8 leaves D4, keeping you in the halving sequence. It's located on the left side of the board.
