133
3-dart checkout
Strategy
A high-pressure checkout. Hit T20, T19, D8 in sequence. Focus on the trebles first — if you miss, you may still leave yourself a workable finish. If your T20 lands in S20, you'll need 133 with 3 darts remaining. A miss sideways into the 5 or 1 segments changes the equation significantly. If your T19 lands in S19, you'll need 73 with 2 darts remaining. A miss sideways into the 3 or 7 segments changes the equation significantly. You'll encounter 133 frequently in competitive 501 and 301 play.
Alternative Routes
The standard route T20 → T19 → D8 is the most commonly used combination for 133.
Pro Tip
D8 is part of the D16 halving chain and a well-practiced double for most players. Missing into S8 leaves D4, keeping you in the halving sequence. It's located on the left side of the board.
