64

2-dart checkout

T16
D8
MediumTreble + Double

Strategy

A two-dart checkout: T16, D8. Hit the treble first to set up the double. If your T16 lands in S16, you'll need 64 with 2 darts remaining. A miss sideways into the 7 or 8 segments changes the equation significantly. You'll encounter 64 frequently in competitive 501 and 301 play.

Alternative Routes

Besides T16 → D8, alternative routes include: T14 → D11. The best choice depends on which area of the board you're most confident in.

Pro Tip

D8 is part of the D16 halving chain and a well-practiced double for most players. Missing into S8 leaves D4, keeping you in the halving sequence. It's located on the left side of the board.
