63

2-dart checkout

T13
D12
MediumTreble + Double

Strategy

A two-dart checkout: T13, D12. Hit the treble first to set up the double. If your T13 lands in S13, you'll need 63 with 2 darts remaining. A miss sideways into the 4 or 6 segments changes the equation significantly. You'll encounter 63 frequently in competitive 501 and 301 play.

Alternative Routes

The standard route T13 → D12 is the most commonly used combination for 63.

Pro Tip

D12 sits between D9 and D5 on the board. A miss inside to S12 leaves you on 12 (D6), maintaining a double finish. The D12 area is relatively spacious, making it a comfortable finishing double.
